The Wall

Wall can help us to protect our city. Its power will be magnified if we upgrade our academy and research on Engineering and Machinery.

Now the question is that what type of defence is the best? and what combination is the most effective to protect our city.

1- Arch Towers (ATs) are the most effective one, coz they can start hitting enemy before they reach our city.

2- Abatis are also very effective when we are offline and enemy use counter attack to decease our city's loyalty and finally conquer it. Counter attack is usually done by high speed troops like cavalry and cataphract.

3- Defensive Trebuchets (DTs) can also kill enemy effectively but it needs to be reload and needs a lot of resources. After each defend you need to rebuild them all. NPC 6-10 have DTs, thats why we do not attack them coz we loss a lot of troops. DTs can kill ballistas as well.

The best combination of wall defence is using its space as follows:

70 % ATs

20% Abatis

10% DTs

But remeber these defences wont be good unless you have high lv of Engineering and Machinery.

Do not build Trap and Rolling logs as they are not effective.
